HAVEN'T you NOTICED? (Part 2)

Psalm 149:4

King James Version

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:

he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Thanks to the video above, and through the HOLY SPIRIT's promptings (well, of course, SPIRIT led me to the video, and the resulting inspiration for this article), we came up with a second part to the "HAVEN'T you NOTICED yet?" article we wrote three days ago.

GOD is truly the Author of the Unexpected.

As well as Author of Life, Love, and Laughter.

And this time, He leads me to two main characters in the Bible.

Both loving GOD, and adoring Him, with all they've got.

Even at the cost of their own life.

And mind you, they're both kings, but didn't have the "attitude".

Unlike most monarchs then, and now.

First we share with you about king David.

Here's a backgrounder on the shepherd boy:

1 Samuel 17:12-13

King James Version

12 Now David was the son of

that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah,

whose name was Jesse

and he had eight sons:

and the man went among men

for an old man in the days of Saul.

13 And the three eldest sons of Jesse

went and followed Saul to the battle:

and the names of his three sons

that went to the battle were

Eliab the firstborn,

and next unto him Abinadab,

and the third Shammah.

1 Samuel 17:14-16

King James Version

14 And David was the youngest:

and the three eldest followed Saul.

15 But David went and returned from Saul

to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.

16 And the Philistine drew near

morning and evening,

and presented himself forty days.

1 Samuel 17:17-18

King James Version

17 And Jesse said unto David his son,

Take now for thy brethren an ephah

of this parched corn, and these ten loaves,

and run to the camp of thy brethren;

18 And carry these ten cheeses

unto the captain of their thousand,

and look how thy brethren fare,

and take their pledge.

1 Samuel 17:19-21

King James Version

19 Now Saul, and they,

and all the men of Israel,

were in the valley of Elah,

fighting with the Philistines.

20 And David rose up early in the morning,

and left the sheep with a keeper,

and took, and went,

as Jesse had commanded him;

and he came to the trench,

as the host was going forth to the fight,

and shouted for the battle.

21 For Israel and the Philistines

had put the battle in array,

army against army.

Giant Goliath roared for 40 days, challenging the Israelites.

1 Samuel 17:22-25

King James Version

22 And David left his carriage

in the hand of the keeper of the carriage,

and ran into the army,

and came and saluted his brethren.

23 And as he talked with them, behold,

there came up the champion,

the Philistine of Gath,

Goliath* by name,

out of the armies of the Philistines,

and spake according to the same words:

and David heard them.

24 And all the men of Israel,

when they saw the man, fled from him,

and were sore afraid.

25 And the men of Israel said,

Have ye seen this man that is come up?

surely to defy Israel is he come up:

and it shall be, that the man who killeth him,

the king will enrich him with great riches,

and will give him his daughter,

and make his father's house free in Israel.

David's miffed branding of Goliath made me laugh the most.

1 Samuel 17:26

King James Version

26 And David spake to the men that stood by him,

saying, What shall be done to the man

that killeth this Philistine,

and taketh away the reproach from Israel?

for who is this uncircumcised Philistine,

that he should defy the armies of the living God?

Young David had a cause, and definitely not to bow down to this "uncircumcised Philistine".

1 Samuel 17:27-28

King James Version

27 And the people answered him after this manner,

saying, So shall it be done to the man

that killeth him.

28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard

when he spake unto the men;

and Eliab's anger was kindled against David,

and he said, Why camest thou down hither?

and with whom hast thou left

those few sheep in the wilderness?

I know thy pride,

and the naughtiness of thine heart;

for thou art come down

that thou mightest see the battle.

1 Samuel 17:29-30

King James Version

29 And David said,

What have I now done?

Is there not a cause?

30 And he turned from him toward another,

and spake after the same manner:

and the people answered him again

after the former manner.

That's when king Saul heard of the shepherd boy.

1 Samuel 17:31-33

King James Version

31 And when the words were heard

which David spake,

they rehearsed them before Saul:

and he sent for him.

32 And David said to Saul,

Let no man's heart fail because of him;

thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

33 And Saul said to David,

Thou art not able to go against this Philistine

to fight with him: for thou art but a youth,

and he a man of war from his youth.

1 Samuel 17:34-36

King James Version

34 And David said unto Saul,

Thy servant kept his father's sheep,

and there came a lion, and a bear,

and took a lamb out of the flock:

35 And I went out after him, and smote him,

and delivered it out of his mouth:

and when he arose against me,

I caught him by his beard,

and smote him, and slew him.

36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear:

and this uncircumcised Philistine

shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied

the armies of the living God.

1 Samuel 17:37

King James Version

37 David said moreover,

The Lord that delivered me

out of the paw of the lion,

and out of the paw of the bear,

he will deliver me

out of the hand of this Philistine.

And Saul said unto David,

Go, and the Lord be with thee.

Don't you love the way young David would stress his indignation that anyone DARE defy "the armies of the living God"?

Taking up David on his innate confidence from the LORD, king Saul prepared him for battle:

1 Samuel 17:38

King James Version

38 And Saul armed David with his armour,

and he put an helmet of brass upon his head;

also he armed him with a coat of mail.

Oh, but the little warrior would have none of that.

He had his own "gear":

1 Samuel 17:39-40

King James Version

39 And David girded his sword upon his armour,

and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it.

And David said unto Saul,

I cannot go with these;

for I have not proved them.

And David put them off him.

40 And he took his staff in his hand,

and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook,

and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had,

even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand:

and he drew near to the Philistine.

Now, fearsome Goliath faces his fearless challenger:

1 Samuel 17:41-42

King James Version

41 And the Philistine came on

and drew near unto David;

and the man that bare the shield went before him.

42 And when the Philistine looked about,

and saw David, he disdained him:

for he was but a youth, and ruddy,

and of a fair countenance.

1 Samuel 17:41-44

King James Version

43 And the Philistine said unto David,

Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves?

And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

44 And the Philistine said to David,

Come to me, and I will give thy flesh

unto the fowls of the air,

and to the beasts of the field.

1 Samuel 17:45-47

King James Version

45 Then said David to the Philistine,

Thou comest to me

with a sword,

and with a spear,

and with a shield:

but I come to thee

in the name of the Lord of hosts,

the God of the armies of Israel,

whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee

into mine hand; and I will smite thee,

and take thine head from thee;

and I will give the carcases

of the host of the Philistines this day

unto the fowls of the air,

and to the wild beasts of the earth;

that all the earth may know

that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know

that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear:

for the battle is the Lord's,

and he will give you into our hands.

The battle was swift, mind you.

1 Samuel 17:48-49

King James Version

48 And it came to pass,

when the Philistine arose, and came,

and drew nigh to meet David,

that David hastened,

and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

49 And David put his hand in his bag,

and took thence a stone, and slang it,

and smote the Philistine in his forehead,

that the stone sunk into his forehead;

and he fell upon his face to the earth.

Brave, bold, little David knew how to end battles, too:

1 Samuel 17:50-51

King James Version

50 So David prevailed over the Philistine

with a sling and with a stone,

and smote the Philistine, and slew him;

but there was no sword in the hand of David.

51 Therefore David ran,

and stood upon the Philistine,

and took his sword,

and drew it out of the sheath thereof,

and slew him, and cut off his head therewith.

And when the Philistines

saw their champion was dead,

they fled.

1 Samuel 17:52-53

King James Version

52 And the men of Israel and of Judah arose,

and shouted, and pursued the Philistines,

until thou come to the valley,

and to the gates of Ekron.

And the wounded of the Philistines

fell down by the way to Shaaraim,

even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.

53 And the children of Israel returned from chasing

after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.

1 Samuel 17:54-56

King James Version

54 And David took the head of the Philistine,

and brought it to Jerusalem;

but he put his armour in his tent.

55 And when Saul saw David go forth

against the Philistine, he said unto Abner,

the captain of the host,

Abner, whose son is this youth?

And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king,

I cannot tell.

56 And the king said,

Enquire thou whose son the stripling is.

1 Samuel 17:57-58

King James Version

57 And as David returned

from the slaughter of the Philistine,

Abner took him, and brought him before Saul

with the head of the Philistine in his hand.

58 And Saul said to him,

Whose son art thou, thou young man?

And David answered,

I am the son of thy servant Jesse

the Bethlehemite.

*Goliath's height was between 9'-6" to 10'-6".

That's between 2.8956 meters to 3.2004 meters, depending upon cubits conversion.

Compare that to David, just a shepherd boy.

Height is not necessarily might.

Having GOD as your Protector is.

As we said early on, the LORD is Author of the Unexpected.

He likes the humble.

He chooses the humble.

He protects the faithful, and humble.

ESPECIALLY those He predestined for His cause.

We did write here, that GOD "purposely chooses the humble".

Or those others look down upon, such as young David.

And He gives them the glory, for His GLORY.

Isaiah 52:6

King James Version

6 Therefore my people shall know my name:

therefore they shall know in that day

that I am he that doth speak:

behold, it is I.

Derided for his youth, and boldness, David astounded them all, saving Israel from the Philistines.

Israel, today, must take a cue from little David, with what she's going through right now.

Israel was meant to live, thrive, and survive -- not be slain.

We shall write about the second king in another article.

For that is the GREATEST king of all.

And deserves an article all His own.

The YOUNG earth

 Genesis 1:1

King James Version

1 In the beginning

God created the heaven

and the earth.

As a child, I used to be fascinated by fossils.

Eyes growing large when I was taught it took millions of years to create such.

As they were building our house, I'd scour the tall pile of gravel, and got thrilled every time I'd see an imprint of a shell on a rock.

I also love seeing pyrite on rocks.

So I also got fascinated by petrified wood, getting especially tickled by the use of the word "petrified".

I've always equated "petrified" with "scared".

Rocks could tell the age of earth?

Petrified wood could, too?

As you can imagine, I was fascinated by rocks, too.

Loving their shape, colors, and character.

I liked how nature weathered the rocks.

I loved the idea of sedimentation, and weathering.

New age taught me that rocks held "memories".

All I know is I liked the feel of them, warmed by the sun.

Each rock, with its own character.

I even very nearly took up Geology, and Archaeology, all because I loved rocks, and artifacts.

Of course, all that changed as GOD plucked me from what school taught me, from the later new age, and made me born again over five years ago.

Now, the only sacrosanct truth came from the Bible.

Being born again means you are constantly taught by SPIRIT, through Scripture.

And GOD's WORD put everything in its proper place.

Yes, even history, geology, and all other man-made sciences.

To the great horror, and resentment, of these sciences, of course.

Dr. Tim Chaffey's video above tells earth is actually 6,000 years old.

And it even itemized proof for it, according to Bible sequence.

Now, my eyes don't grow big at millions of years claim for earth.

Now, I don't imagine earth wobbling on its axis.

Now, I imagine it's steady, because GOD made it so.

Sure takes out all uncertainty about the fate of the earth.

The earth is His.

Of course, this will drive science nuts.

They never gave GOD credit for anything.

Science goes totally against Scripture.

It always tries to disprove GOD's TRUTH.

Well, GOD does not lie.

Hebrews 6:18

King James Version

18 That by two immutable things,

in which it was impossible for God to lie,

we might have a strong consolation,

who have fled for refuge

to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

JESUS is that HOPE.

Now, I know what to believe.

Now, I am certain what I tell you.

Now, I know the REAL facts.

I thank GOD for that.

If PRESIDENTS were DEACONS

 Ephesians 4:11-12

King James Version

11 And he gave some, apostles;

and some, prophets;

and some, evangelists;

and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints,

for the work of the ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ:

SPIRIT gave me an idea today.

We shall dismantle the usual boats.

Time for a new kind of president.

We challenge you to forget ALL you've been taught about POLITICS.

We challenge ANY, and EVERY, presidency.

We challenge ANY, and EVERY, form of leadership.

Starting with the question:

What can we liken

presidents of countries to?

Whether you're running for office, or are already president of a nation, you must consider this:

Presidents can be like "deacons".

A deacon is a cleric "below a priest".

Of course, I expect lots of protest.

An uproar would be mild.

Precisely it.

Now, imagine this:

You are running for office.

Maybe president of the United States.

That makes you a "deacon".

Oh, but who is "priest"?

JESUS, of course!

Hebrews 3:1

King James Version

3 Wherefore, holy brethren,

partakers of the heavenly calling,

consider the Apostle

and High Priest of our profession,

Christ Jesus;

Who else has the HIGHEST "office" anyway?

Is it man, or GOD?

Hebrews 3:4

King James Version

4 For every house is builded by some man;

but he that built all things is God.

You will become a DECENT president if you can accept TWO things:

1. You are to be "deacon" -- second in command.

2. JESUS is HIGH PRIEST -- FIRST in command.

Which He is, anyway.

Now, consider the duties of a deacon:

1 Timothy 3:8-13

King James Version

8 Likewise must the deacons be grave,

not doubletongued,

not given to much wine,

not greedy of filthy lucre;

9 Holding the mystery of the faith

in a pure conscience.

10 And let these also first be proved;

then let them use the office of a deacon,

being found blameless.

11 Even so must their wives be grave,

not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife,

ruling their children and their own houses well.

13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well

purchase to themselves a good degree,

and great boldness in the faith

which is in Christ Jesus.

You can be "bishop", too, if you like:

1 Timothy 3:2

King James Version

2 A bishop then must be blameless,

the husband of one wife,

vigilant, sober, of good behaviour,

given to hospitality,

apt to teach;

EXCEPT the HEAD Bishop is JESUS, just so you know.

1 Peter 2:25

King James Version

25 For ye were as sheep going astray;

but are now returned unto the Shepherd

and Bishop of your souls.

The FIRST rule of leadership?

LOSE that ego.

Matthew 20:27-28

King James Version

27 And whosoever will be chief among you,

let him be your servant:

28 Even as the Son of man came

not to be ministered unto, but to minister,

and to give his life a ransom for many.

The SECOND rule of LEADERSHIP?

Become born again.

John 3:3-7

King James Version

3 Jesus answered and said unto him,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him,

How can a man be born when he is old?

can he enter the second time

into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

When you're born again, all else follows.

You'll be done with things of the world.

But you'll begin truly serving GOD.

In FULL acceptance of His will.

The born again is a SERVANT of CHRIST.

He is not a servant of men.

1 Corinthians 7:21-23

King James Version

21 Art thou called being a servant?

care not for it:

but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

22 For he that is called in the Lord,

being a servant, is the Lord's freeman:

likewise also he that is called,

being free, is Christ's servant.

23 Ye are bought with a price;

be not ye the servants of men.

Chaos, and corruption, comes from serving corrupt men.

You always reflect who you serve.

SERVE GOD, instead.

Can women be president/deacons?

Click here for a Scripture response.

Again, that will raise a ruckus.

Doesn't matter.

GOD's gospel is a NONNEGOTIABLE gospel.

That's all we care to uphold.

There are many presidential elections going on everywhere in the world.

Conducted in man's usual manner:

-- cheating involved

-- inability to accept defeat

-- creating flimsy platforms

-- offering false promises

-- never delivering what's been promised

-- eliminating other candidates, by any means

It's all lies, deception, greed, vanity, lust for money, and power.

Surely, we've had enough of that.

That's why it's time to "re-educate" ourselves.

Time to do it the BORN AGAIN way:

How would GOD want us to be?

How should we conduct ourselves?

How are we to love others?

What are GOD's commands?

What is GOD's will?

All the answers are in Scripture.

SPIRIT led me to the EXACT verses.

He took my understanding to another level.

We got creative, the BORN AGAIN way.

Thus, this post.

So, we challenge anyone, and everyone running for president, to think, and act, like a "deacon".

JESUS is HIGH PRIEST.

You are His subordinate.

You will have to follow His commands.

John 14:15

King James Version

15 If ye love me,

keep my commandments.

John 15:8

King James Version

8 Herein is my Father glorified,

that ye bear much fruit;

so shall ye be my disciples.

1 John 5:3

King James Version

3 For this is the love of God,

that we keep his commandments:

and his commandments are not grievous.

Can you embrace that?

If you could, you'd be a WONDERFUL leader.

Whether you aspire to become president, or vice-president.

CEO, CFO, CIO, manager, whatever.

GOD's principles remain the same.

He comes FIRST.

EVERYTHING is for HIS GLORY.

I stand by this post 100%.

John 3:30

King James Version

30 He must increase,

but I must decrease.

On SPIRITUAL discernment

1 Corinthians 2:14

King James Version

14 But the natural man receiveth not

the things of the Spirit of God:

for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them,

because they are spiritually discerned.

How can you really tell things apart?

How can you know that which is of GOD?

And that which is of Satan?

How can you protect your mind?

How can you protect your heart?

How can you protect your soul?

By being born again.

JESUS told us:

John 3:5-8

King James Version

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth:

so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Once you're born again, never again will you guess.

Never again will you be confused.

Never again will you doubt.

SPIRIT will teach you.

He will lead you to Scripture.

He will lead you to what JESUS taught us.

He will lead you to GOD's commands, which JESUS reminds us of.

You can always be sure the path you're taking is the right path.

For JESUS is the WORD.

And He is all these:

John 1:17

King James Version

17 For the law was given by Moses,

but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him,

I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Colossians 2:9-10

King James Version

9 For in him dwelleth

all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him,

which is the head of all principality and power:

Possibly to test my discernment, SPIRIT presented two things.

Yesterday, I was witness to a couple of "claims" and statements.

One, from SPIRIT.

The other, from CHRIST's enemy.

How was I able to tell them apart?

We'll get there.

First, I wrote them down.

Waiting for the opportune moment.

That SPIRIT may inspire me to delve further.

Early this morning, He did.

Now, we have verses to back them up.

STATEMENT inspired by SPIRIT:

"GOD loves everyone,

but not everyone love GOD."

Proof that GOD loves everyone?

John 3:16-17

King James Version

16 For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world

to condemn the world;

but that the world through him

might be saved.

Galatians 3:28-29

King James Version

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek,

there is neither bond nor free,

there is neither male nor female:

for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed,

and heirs according to the promise.

2 Peter 3:9

King James Version

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,

as some men count slackness;

but is longsuffering to us-ward,

not willing that any should perish,

but that all should come to repentance.

Proof that not everyone love GOD?

Romans 3:10

King James Version

10 As it is written,

There is none righteous,

no, not one:

Romans 3:11

King James Version

11 There is none that understandeth,

there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3:12

King James Version

12 They are all gone out of the way,

they are together become unprofitable;

there is none that doeth good,

no, not one.

If everyone loved GOD, they would become born again.

If everyone loved GOD, they would turn away from sin.

If everyone loved GOD, they would repent.

But no -- everyone continues to sin.

They don't care for the things of GOD.

When they sin, they follow Satan.

STATEMENT from the enemy:

I was watching a video last night wherein a former satanist claimed along the lines:

a fallen angel is assigned

every day of the week,

for several hours, each day,

(with exact schedules)

allotted for them

to wreak havoc on us

Right, as if they kept their evil in check.

The Bible states:

1 Peter 5:8

King James Version

8 Be sober, be vigilant;

because your adversary the devil,

as a roaring lion,

walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour:

Ephesians 6:12

King James Version

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities,

against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Revelation 12:12

King James Version

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens,

and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!

for the devil is come down unto you,

having great wrath,

because he knoweth

that he hath but a short time.

Satan waits in ambush, ALL the time.

Knowing his time is short, why would he waste time?

He will make time, his time.

That he may destroy ALL who GOD loves.

And ALL who love GOD.

It is not a some-of-the-time thing.

It is a moment-by-moment vigilance we need to have.

We need to be awake, aware, and alert, ALL the time.

If not for SPIRIT, I wouldn't have been able to discern.

But through Him, I was able to, and junked the rest of the video.

Those daily, and hourly, schedules were laughable.

I can't possibly let the enemy clutter my brain.

Both statements have something to do with "time".

Like an "ALL-the-time" thing:

GOD loves us ALL the time.

Satan corrupts us ALL the time.

But Satan's deeds will go to waste.

GOD is MASTER of TIME:

Isaiah 43:13

King James Version

13 Yea, before the day was I am he;

and there is none that can deliver out of my hand:

I will work, and who shall let it?

There is only GOD:

Isaiah 43:10

King James Version

10 Ye are my witnesses,

saith the Lord,

and my servant whom I have chosen:

that ye may know and believe me,

and understand that I am he:

before me there was no God formed,

neither shall there be after me.

And He is MASTER of SALVATION:

Isaiah 43:11

King James Version

11 I, even I,

am the Lord;

and beside me

there is no saviour.

As you can see, the BIBLE is WITNESS to GOD's TRUTH.

That's why I love Scripture so much!

It is my BEST FRIEND in these end times.

There is no confusion.

Only clarity.
